ISLAND OF JAMAICA
This is one of my favorite islands in the Caribbean. There are so many different areas of Jamaica where you can stay and they are all so different from one another; so you could visit this island over and over again and have a new experience each time. There is so much to see and do off the resort as well that makes it a great destination for adventure seekers. There are 3 main areas that clients visit and they are: Montego Bay, Negril, and Ocho Rios. You fly into Montego Bay (MBJ) International Airport for all of these destinations and take your included transportation to your resort. There are a couple other areas that are popular as well but a little less known and they are Falmouth, Jamaica and Whitehouse, Jamaica. They have some stunning resorts as well and again; flying into MBJ airport is still the airport of choice for these destinations.
This island has everything from horseback riding, swimming in lagoons, hiking waterfalls, tubbing down rivers, bobsledding down the mountains, to swimming with Dolphins and so much more. If adventure is what you seek then Jamaica is the perfect island for you. A lot of my clients love the resorts but also like to get off the resort (with an escorted tour company of course) and see the local culture and experience many and wonderful things to do on the island of Jamaica.
Montego Bay, Jamaica Resorts
Resorts in the Montego Bay area are approximately 15 – 25 minutes from the airport. The resorts in this area make it possible for shorter night trips if that is something you would prefer to do; or if you just want to get to the resort without all the driving this is the best spot for you. Tours from Montego Bay are about a half day trip including the tour itself and the drive; making a great location if you want to get off the resort with a tour operator but not take up a whole day.
Adults Only All Inclusive Resorts
The Original & Flagship resort just went through a Multi-Million Dollar transformation which includes and stunning lobby overlook the majestic Caribbean Sea. They also added the beautiful Latitudes Overwater Bar with built in Hammocks over the Caribbean Sea. The resort is only about 15 minutes from the airport making travel time to your resort short and sweet. The resort is on an amazing stretch of private white sand beach in Jamaica. This resort offers some of the best Oceanfront Suites in all of the Caribbean. If you want a truly beachfront resort for your honeymoon or vacation this is the resort for you. 
The Sister resort to Sandals Montego Bay is within 10 minutes of Sandals Royal Caribbean and has a shuttle service included for free in-between the 2 resorts. This resort features it’s own private island with a restaurant and swim-up bar on it as well as beautiful Over-Water Bungalows. Clients who wish to have that Butler Elite service but not break the bank can stay here in the beautiful Crystal Lagoon Suites (overlooking the Lagoon) for under $5,000 per couple for 7 night stays on average (not including airfare). 
Wild Orchid & St James are located right on the beach side by side to each other and have always shared restaurants (located closer to Wild Orchid side of resort) and the same beach. Breathless is a new edition that was built up on the hillside and shares the same beach. Breathless does have it’s own restaurants (shared privileges throughout all resorts) up on the hillside connected to it’s own resort as well as a stunning rooftop Bar and Pool. These resorts are on their own stretch of beautiful white sand beach. No matter what your requirements; one of these resorts will fit what you are looking for. Whether you prefer a more party type atmosphere and want to stay at Breathless or if you preferred the upscale elegance and want to be close to the beach and restaurants at Wild Orchid and then of course St James there is something for everyone.
Negril, Jamaica Resorts
Negril resorts are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes from the airport; depending on traffic and also if you stop for Jerk Chicken along the way at a local spot (your driver will know best). This is a scenic drive mostly along the coast line and then through the small towns along the way. It is a bit of a driving on winding roads so if anyone gets motion sick I would suggest to bring something for that just in case. However once in Negril you will be on some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. They are a beautiful white powder sand with amazing turquoise blue waters. I recommend this area for clients looking to stay on-site the resort (although a trip to Ricks Cafe to watch the locals cliff dive and if your brave enough there is a much lower tourist jump area; is a quick ride and always a good time) because most of the tours are about 2 hours each way to get to.
Adults Only All Inclusive Resorts
Sandals Negril sets on the famous 7 mile beach. It is a beautiful low rise resort situated directly on the shore line; so anyone looking for a beachfront resort filled with relaxation and turquoise blue waters this is the spot. They have some amazing room categories for more budget friendly guests but still want that all-inclusive luxury experience that Sandals offers. Some of the best scuba and snorkeling can be found in the Negril area and Sandals includes it unlimited for free for your entire stay (If you are a certified diver it is free; if not there is a resort certification for a small cost and then you can have free dives). This resort is more laid back than other Sandals resorts but does still have a fun and upbeat Jamaican vibe. It is a true beach lover’s resort! 
Couples Swept Away & Couples Negril
These next two resorts; both located in Negril Jamaica are different from each other in their own ways but they both have that very true and authentic Caribbean vibe to the resorts. You will find that they don’t have all the bells and whistles of other adult only resorts but what they don’t lack in is service or quality. These resorts are for clients that don’t feel like they need to be entertained 24/7 but can enjoy a nice steel drum band on the beach one night; or an evening at the piano bar with an amazing local artist, other guests, and of course a drink in your hand. If you are looking for an authentic Caribbean resort where you can stick a red flag in the sand to have a drink brought to you then these are the resorts for you.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica Resorts
To get to the resorts in Ocho Rios most of them are about 2 hours from the airport though the Mountains so I would suggest some motion sickness medicine for this drive as well. However; if you are the adventure seeker and want to get off the resort and do a lot of the activities that Jamaica has to offer then this is the spot for you. A lot of the tours in Jamaica are close to the Ocho Rios area so it makes it the perfect location for clients looking to have some fun.

Sandals Ochi has a high energy vibe with daily entertainment experiences for every client. It does offer an exclusive Butler serviced Village built up in the mountain with Plantation style great houses that offer a more quiet atmosphere as well as pools shared between the great houses. It is perfect for the more active client seeking the off-site experience and also for the pool lovers. It features the Caribbean’s first authentic speakeasy bar called the Rabbit Hole. 
Sandals Royal Plantation is an All Butler, All Suite, All Oceanview Resort and offers an Afternoon Tea for it’s clients. The resort is built overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea however; with the beautiful view comes with stairs that get you to the beach so it is not recommended for anyone with limited mobility. The resort is for the more intimate clients seeking luxury pampering and relaxation. If you stay at Sandals Royal Plantation you have full exchange privileges to Sandals Ochi (however; not the other way around). 
These next two resorts; both located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica are different from each other in their own ways but they both have that very true and authentic Caribbean vibe to the resorts. If you are looking for resorts that give you amazing quality and service but you don’t need that major wow factor of more commercialized resorts then these are the resorts for you. San Souci is on a beautiful stretch of beach (just big enough; if you want longer Negril is your choice) free from vendors and you will find that the service you get here is so personalized you will want to return year after year. San Souci offers an a natural beach as well. Tower Isle is a smaller yet quaint resort and is very easily navigated. You will get to know the staff very quickly at a resort like this and that makes for an amazing experience and vacation! They have a wonderful staff, great food, and outstanding bartenders!

Falmouth, Jamaica Resorts
Falmouth is located approximately 35 minutes from the Montego Bay Airport. It is towards Ocho Rios so it makes it a great spot for clients who want to be able to get off the resort for 1 or 2 days as you are closer to off-site things once on the resort.
Adults Only All Inclusive Resorts
An adults only resort set on a beautiful Bay area. Excellence is known for it’s service and amazing room categories (I.e. a rooftop plunge pool) and clients love that if you book a lower room category here your not lacking in the service that higher room categories get as well. This resort is perfect for clients who like to get away to quiet areas and spend some time together; there are many areas at this resort to spread out. They also have their famous thatched umbrellas (on parts of the resort) to cover you from the sun.
Whitehouse, Jamaica Resorts
Whitehouse, Jamaica is located in a beautiful area of Jamaica and now it is a lot easier to get here now that the road to Whitehouse is more direct and finished. You can enjoy blue waters and gorgeous white sand beaches.
Adults Only All Inclusive Resorts
This resort is an all Beachfront, all luxury resort set on Jamaica’s South Coast. It has 3 villages on the resort (Italian, French, & Dutch) and each of them has their own vibe to them. Sandals South Coast also offers breathtaking Over Water Bungalows that are walk-able from the beach; so for those clients that always dreamed of going to Bora Bora and staying in one you can just catch a much shorter flight to Jamaica and stay at South Coast. They also have a stunning over the water bar with Hammocks that go over the water. It is a picturesque resort and is for the beach lover and someone who wants a more quiet atmosphere.
