ISLAND OF BARBADOS

The island of Barbados is full of history and culture. There are many activities to do off the resort including one of my favorites; swimming with Sea Turtles. A lot of people also like to get off the resort to visit some local places including Ostin’s; which hosts a fish fry on Friday nights. A lot of islanders gather here. It is a great time to get out, mingle with the locals and enjoy a great locally prepared meal. Barbados is also an amazing island for scuba divers and snorkelers.

The first of the Sandals resorts in Barbados was an absolute hit. When it was first announced that Sandals was coming to Barbados my excitement level went through the roof. Now the island has a luxury resort catering to adults only clientele. It is still a staple in Barbados and now with the sister property; Sandals Royal Barbados next door they now have enough accommodations for all the guests wanting to come and visit this wonderful island and all it has to offer. This resort has the most beautiful Crystal Lagoon Swim-Out rooms that provide a lot of privacy unlike other resorts with swim-out rooms. The way it is laid out and the lush landscaping makes it feel like an oasis and is very romantic.
